Training Programs

Two routes to Jungian analytic training

Choose the program that matches your professional path

JPA offers two pathways to become an IAAP-certified Jungian analyst. One is designed for licensed mental health professionals who do not need a New York State psychoanalytic license. The other combines the New York State License Qualifying Program with IAAP analytic training requirements.

Both programs take place within JPA’s learning community and combine coursework, personal analysis, clinical work, supervision, practica, and colloquia. Start with the distinction that matters most: whether you need a New York State license in psychoanalysis or already hold a qualifying mental health license and are pursuing IAAP certification.
